DINING AND KITCHEN AREA
I have placed the dining table, extensible from six to ten seats, right outside your kitchen door so it’s comfortable and easy to eat there every time you want, not just when you plan to have a bbq party.
The outdoor kitchen is placed right behind the corner, in this way it is close to the dining table but also concealed to the view from the living area.
The door on that side allows you to go in/out with cooking stuff without having to pass through the dining area.
I have placed wall lights on both walls: the one facing the dining table and the one with the outdoor kitchen.
If the lights only on one side of the table are not enough I would suggest to place bollard candle holders on the flowerbeds, they are both charming and easy to put away when you are not using them.
For the same reason if you need shade at launch time I suggest umbrellas, not a fixed structure because this one will shade your house all year around and this is not advisable with kitchen and great room facing north.
The sideboard under the kitchen window is perfect for storing umbrellas and candle holders.

HOT TUB AREA
I have placed the hot tub on a decking, this choice allows to give movement to the garden design with different heights, to build in the hot tub and to create the screen you need.
To this end I suggest, on the corner, wood panels along the boundary and a sheltered pergola.
In this way you create an indoor/outdoor room perfect for your spa and privacy convenience.
Two sides are closed with structures, wide and high enough to screen the view from outside and two sides are open to let you enjoy both the sun and your garden.
Under the pergola I have placed some furnitures I think you may need: a sideboard for storing towels and other stuff and two beach huts - dressing rooms for your guests where they can change and leave their clothes.
Outside I have placed two lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the sun but should you prefer some shade you still have room under the pergola.

LIVING AREA
This area is on the opposite side surrounded by flowerbeds and with a beautiful view on your house and garden.
I have placed a pergola to create a sheltered living area, closed on the boundary side by a wall with fireplace that will provide the screen you need in front of your bedroom.
A set of sofa and lounge chairs is under the pergola, another set of sofa and lounge chairs is in the open air so you can enjoy sun or shade and have many seats for many guests.

VEGETATION
As you asked the plants are drought tolerant, perennials and shrubs that need very little maintenance, their flowers are mostly purple and white, blooms at different times and are long lasting.
Their pictures are in the furniture section, while in the private resources you’ll find botanical names, quantities and detailed plans with the position of each plant.
The flowerbeds are at different heights, all of them have pebbles as an ornament and to limit water transpiration and weed growth, if you don’t like pebbles I would advice a different type of mulch, not just bare soil.
Where you have the fruit trees I have also placed wood tiles to form a path so you can easily walk to the trees and pick their fruits.
Instead along the house I have extended the stone pavement of living/dining area because I think it’s more convenient when the windows need to be cleaned.

FINISHINGS AND FURNITURES
To keep in harmony with your requests and house style, I suggest a stone floor with a soft color, light grey almost white that give brightness to your garden.
For the same reason I suggest white for pergolas, wood panels and the wall behind the fireplace. Also the fence you already have could be painted white.
This white choices are balanced with colors in other finishings and furnitures.
The raised flowerbeds are made of colored cement, like the border between the stone floor and the flowerbeds at floor level.
If you don’t like the color I have chosen you can decide for a different one but my advice is to choose anyway a soft color not a bright one, because the vivid, bright colors annoy more easily as time passes.
The furnitures, as well, balance white and colors.
For the living area sofas I propose mostly white and grey because they are surrounded by flowerbeds and white enhances the colors of flowers and plants.
Instead for the hot tub area I propose colored furnitures: lounge chairs, beach huts, sideboard that fit really well against the white wood panels and pergola.
