Hello, thank you for submitting your project for design.
The submission here splits the area as you requested into a private bedroom with en-suite, living area and separate WC for guest use. The attic was not split further in order to keep the feeling of light and space.
As space is at a premium, every centimetre was thought out fully. A raised bed/split levelling was considered but rejected in order to stop the space feeling cramped. A generously sized en-suite is the surprise here in order to keep an element of luxury. The only room that will feel truly 'small' is the guest WC where we suggest lots of storage to this functional space.
A built in wardrobe forms the partition between living area and bedroom. This saves precious centimetres in building a false wall. It also gives plenty of interesting architectural angles at the ceiling of the space.
Built in shelving in a small niche formed by the bathroom wall provides another interesting architectural feature which is further enhanced by lighting.
With regard to lighting, much thought has been given to both brighter lighting and for ambient lighting for evening and night use. The occupants will not wish for harsh bright lighting when reading in bed, or when watching films for example.
Further light is brought into the bedroom and en-suite space by use of glass in the dividing wall - this allows light to filter between the areas and the reflections of light on the glass further adds to the lighting. Feel free to replace the glass with artisan glass or plain glass of different colours to suit.
Heating and air conditioning units can fit into many places well and should be incorporated where the client feels they will best work with their intended use in mind.
A plumbing and electrical plan have also been provided. Please note the positioning for practical use, and the sockets located within the TV niche intended for media units.
It is hoped that you like this design and can find many features that you love.
