Description

Our proposal deals not only with the extension of the house and interior design, but also with the design of external spaces.
In particular:
1. The pedestrian and vehicular entrances remain separate, and a covered parking area is created on the left side of the house, leaning against the border wall; in the internal corner of the car park, a storage space is inserted.
2. The concrete flooring is removed, and the garden remodeled, with greenery and terracotta brick flooring; trees are inserted to give coolness and shade to the garden.
3. The house is expanded where foreseen, with a construction of approximately 75 square meters net, in which there is space for the open space living room with the kitchen.
4. The two bedrooms are inserted into the original space, including the master bedroom with private bathroom and small terrace, created where the entrance currently is. In the corridor, a space is created for the laundry closet, with washing machine, dryer and storage space. Between the two buildings, a cut is created, in which the second entrance is inserted (on the car park side). With this little trick, we can give to the second bedroom the necessary window without having border problems.
5. The new entrance is from where required, inserted under the patio area.
6. The patio area surrounds three sides of the house, facing the entrance and the garden, to offer large spaces for relaxation; it is partly covered by the roof, partly by a wooden pergola.
7. Inside the garden, on the side of the new living room, there is the swimming pool, with a main pool, a small hydromassage pool, a large solarium area with wooden deck and a relaxation area with a small fireplace.
The style we chose completes the existing one without distorting it, the existing roof is not touched and the new one is built adhering to it. The finishes are natural stone, wood and light plaster.
