Dear Client
Since you said that you wish for us to concentrate on the color scheme and ideas for furniture, we thought of some new ways to use the space, so it can be cozy and pleasant, and remain professional and efficient.
Using your pallets we thought that, because you cannot change the ceiling tiles, maybe you can paint them and maybe even draw a mural. It would be best if you could bring kids(the more the merrier!) to the office, they'll figure out a fun way to paint them in no time, it will also be good for community bonding, and getting to know your colleagues better. It is quite simple, you just give them each a paper the size of a tile and afterwards glue the drawings to the ceiling, you can have a grand opening for the kids and parents where all of the drawings and shapes will be on the ceiling, and this will also make the space more pleasant for workers, as they will always feel a connection with their family when they are at work.
On the walls you can have more murals, similar to the ones on the stairs, but we also have a suggestion. While looking at some maps of metro systems of cities we saw that they are very similar to the refference photo you gave us(with the plants, light green wall, and a circuit that appears to mimic the plants on the wall) so we thought you could like the idea of having metro maps of all the famous cities on your walls, a truly cosmopolitan scene! We don't mean only the simplified versions, you should consider the real situation maps, as they are more organic and dynamic, or even a combination of the real-simplified circuit maps.
Also another circuit, inspired by the "Copper" you determined to be the connecting color of your companies various parts. We suggest a circuit-like line that will go throughout the complex, from the entrance and lounge, spreading to every door and quarter and in the end, connecting into a closed circuit, which will connect the whole complex and be a guide to all workers and visitors. Some points of this circuit (or the whole circuit) could be illuminated with small floor lights, for better orientation, or even fitted with fluorescent lights, which would glow the way towards the exit (planes have a similar mechanism in the passenger sections) in case of a blackout, which could happen at any time, after all, there will be many computers and lights in the complex, so this would be both a aesthetic and safety bonus. A similar line could run along the ceiling, and have pointers and signs saying which company is located in which part of the broad complex.
Whilst placing the desks, we realised that your space can house more than 80 persons, in fact twice as much, with the correct configuration. This is an important factor if you wish to expand the open office spaces later on. So you can choose between more workspace or more free space, for walking, talking or storing files and documents.
We gave you a few schemes of furniture, which you can make from almost any material, that would make your space more pleasant for all the workers, and some very efficient storage sollutions, that save you time and space, both very important for business.
Thank you
