Description

A conventional flat roof of the residential building designed on a four wings floor plan. You enter the building via an entrance cut deep into the concrete body and first reach the garden . A double flight straight staircase with toughened glass risers leads from here up to the upper floor. The rather narrow, but high reception becomes an opening space. Narrow and wide, enclosed and open enter a constantly changing, exciting dialogue as you walk through the house. Inside and outside, the insulation concrete, as a monochrome solid shell, defines the essence of the house in its reduction and robustness.
Structural clarity, limitation to the essentials, modulation of light, material management and haptic perception are determining factors of my architecture.
