Description

Dear Client,

Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project, I enjoyed it very much, and I hope I've managed to meet your expectations regarding both the delivery and the design of the space.

I aimed to create a layout that is both functional and each space comfortable for everyday use with a pleasant atmosphere to add to the surroundings of the beautiful seaside setting it's located in.

The current layout is a little scattered with functions, and the first step was to create a day and night area of the house. The living area is given a more open view towards the sea, and the bedrooms have a garden view. As you mentioned the structure on the side would be removed, and an outdoor space created in that position, the bedroom will have a more pleasant view when that is done, and a more cozy character.
All the installations are placed along one wall, where the current bathroom is, and should not be a problem for realization.
The work on masonry is also very minimal since most of the original wall layout is kept with few changes as shown in the drawings.

The living area consists of a small entrance hall only visually divided from the lounge, lounge area, dining, and kitchen with a small workstation. The lounge is furnished with a sofa and lounge chairs oriented towards the sea and a fireplace placed between the lounge and dining area. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped (double fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, cooking hob, sink, dishwasher, large workbench). Since the kitchen is quite large, the small workstation can be further extended according to your needs regarding the kitchen if needed.
The dining area hoasts 6-8 people and has a view towards the sea for a pleasant dining experience. The table can be rotated or moved to the side when you don't have guests over to get more space in the workstation.

One toilet is accessed from a small hallway adjacent to the living area, and it's equipped with a double sink, toilet, bidet, and walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom is furnished with one single bed by the window, and one Murphy bed along the longer side of the room. When the bed is folded up, a desk can be folded down for a more private workstation. This gives you more breathing space in the room, and the assumption was that you would not be both workings while you have guests staying over, and the double use of this room would not be a problem.
The workstation in the master bedroom was avoided to create a pure relaxation area of the house, but if preferred, a desk could be added along the back of the wardrobe since there is enough space to move the bed.
The master bedroom has a large bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The laundry cupboard in the walk-in wardrobe is a suggestion if you prefer to have it indoors compared to the outdoor one you currently have. There is also enough space to place it in the en-suite bathroom if preferred. All options are possible with the water installations already being all located in that part of the house.

I hope everything is clear and understandable, but if you have any additional questions feel free to contact me.

Kind regards
