Please find attached two proposals for the project.

The design has been developed carefully in response to the vision discussed: transforming the attic into the emotional and spatial heart of the home. The proposal focuses on opening the space to natural light, creating a generous double- or triple-height living area overlooking the pine forest, and shaping an environment that is not only functional but truly experiential.

The concept explores the potential of the existing early-1900s stone structure.
Materials and architectural solutions are inspired by the local mountain language, interpreted with refined finishes and a strong emphasis on light, spatial quality, comfort, and the identity of the place.

Below is a brief description of the two proposed architectural layout options:

Option 1

Ground Floor: Living area with fireplace, open kitchen, guest bedroom, and a bathroom serving the house users. The living space opens directly to the garden through a door.

First Floor: Master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, plus a service/utility room.

Top Floor (Attic): Main living area with fireplace and TV, featuring a large window opened toward the beautiful mountain view, along with the enlargement of another existing window to enhance natural light and scenery.

Option 2

The main difference is the removal of the guest bedroom on the ground floor.

This allows the creation of an additional bathroom on the first floor, dedicated to serving the main living space in the top-floor attic.

In allegato due proposte di progetto.

Il progetto è stato sviluppato con cura in risposta alla visione discussa: trasformare la mansarda nel cuore emozionale e spaziale della casa. La proposta si concentra sull'apertura dello spazio alla luce naturale, creando un'ampia zona giorno a doppia o tripla altezza con vista sulla pineta e dando forma a un ambiente non solo funzionale, ma anche realmente esperienziale.

Il concept esplora il potenziale della struttura in pietra esistente di inizio Novecento.
Materiali e soluzioni architettoniche si ispirano al linguaggio montano locale, interpretato con finiture raffinate e una forte enfasi sulla luce, la qualità degli spazi, il comfort e l'identità del luogo.

Di seguito una breve descrizione delle due opzioni di layout architettonico proposte:

Opzione 1

Piano terra: Zona giorno con camino, cucina a vista, camera per gli ospiti e un bagno a servizio degli utenti della casa. La zona giorno si apre direttamente sul giardino tramite una porta.

Primo piano: Camera da letto padronale con bagno en-suite, più un locale di servizio/lavanderia.

Ultimo piano (mansarda): zona giorno principale con camino e TV, caratterizzata da un'ampia finestra che si apre sulla splendida vista sulle montagne, oltre all'ampliamento di un'altra finestra esistente per migliorare la luce naturale e il panorama.

Opzione 2

La differenza principale è la rimozione della camera degli ospiti al piano terra.

Questo consente la creazione di un ulteriore bagno al primo piano, dedicato alla zona giorno principale nella mansarda all'ultimo piano.
