Following the customer's requirements, the access was moved transforming the window that overlooked the garden in the front door. This change allowed to revolutionize the idea of spaciousness both inside and outside. The apartment is divided into living and sleeping area by a rough wall, made in red bricks, which increases the visual perception of space.
Entering the apartment you will enter in an industrial atmosphere, characterized by a backdrop kitchen with wood paneling details on the walls. The sofa, modular and convertible into bed, serves as the ideological barrier that divides the kitchen area from the relaxation.
The furniture has been chosen from the catalog ikea, such as chandeliers and paintings.
Separated by a small but essential corridor, the sleeping area consists of three rooms: a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a wardrobe, a comfortable bathroom with a shower 80x120 cm and a storage room used as a laundry / pantry where are placed the washing machine and a more than adequate closet.
Finding space inside for laundry / pantry area, it was possible to make the garden a perfect relaxation area with Taoist influences. The space becomes a kind of embrace between the green and the cobblestones, relaxing natural union that contains a table for relaxing moments. A hedge and a magnolia protect from the sun and view and, together with lavender, contribute to the feeling of pleasant welcome to the apartment.
Access which was covered by a pergola, that allows a shield against the elements.
