Working on a project with such a great view was fun, You guys are lucky to have such a great property with such a great view. Few things regarding the project I kept in mind that the structure is a load bearing structure, as in the walls with more thickness carries the load of the entire building so core cutting or demolishing them should never be an option.Keeping this in mind I have manipulated a Design which is functional, Aesthetically pleasing and keeping in mind your choices likes and dislikes. While reading the brief and watching the references you have shared I realized that your design and finishes taste comes under Natural finishes and that is So obvious when you have such a great view soo why to keep the Nature outside when you can get it Indoors.
I have tried to Demolish as less as possible walls considering the Building structure and tried to keep it A Budget friendly project. Listed below is the list of all work and changes I have done to the property.
1. The Living room now is more spacious with a large TV Console wall which is into wooden finishing with Accent black color with some pendants lighting to keep the entire console balanced.
2. I have provided a L shaped sofa with a lounge chair but a SOFA CUM BED will aslo give the same appeal as he kids are going to use the living room more often I have tried to keep all the finishes in soft materials as it will be less dangerous even though they fall while playing.
3.The kitchen now is near its original place, so that there is not much hussle in shifting the water inlet and drainage services, But totally redesigned with a 3 M (running meter) counter top Also the refrigerator is hidden from the living Room with a CNC Cut Jali which makes it less visible from the living room.
4. The wall tiles for kitchen are in natural stone finish while the wall units are in mint color refer the renders to get a better idea.
5. The new toilet designed now is more functional for now i have kept the access from the living room but you can also shift it to from the bedroom ( AS per your requirement) I have kept the provision for both. Also the laundry is now attached with the toilet. Laundry can hold 2 machines one for washing and other for drying clothes. The washroom is now having a ceiling mounted shower. Also i have tried not to relocate the toilets much as there is a structual wall in between and also the drainage for the toilets was an issue( the demolishion and the plumbing charges would have increased for no reason) So i have kept this possible layout which is functional and with less demolition. The master bedroom window is now divided into 2 giving the laundry some natural light also the Master bedroom is big enough which accommodates a big 4 door Swing wadrobe along with a study are and a king sized bed with 2 bedside lamps and a console table.
PLEASE GO THROUGH ALL THE DRAWINGS AND VIEWS MONICA AND ANTONELLO, IF YOU GET STUCK ANYWHERE I AM HAPPY TO HELP YOU, HOPE SO YOU DO JUSTICE TO THE HARD WORK. ALL THE BEST.
