Thank you dear client for the opportunity to work on this project.
The main idea for the project was to maximize views to the pool and garden from the major living spaces while orienting the building to gain maximum effect from the summer sun. The spaces have been organized as requested with the constraint of the 780 m3 in mind. The total cubature of the project has been fitted into the 780 m3 with the total height of the building at 5.8meters. However due to the space needs we had to compromise on the design by excluding the gym room and also putting the sauna and Turkish bath under the bio climatic pergola on the deck overlooking the garden. A closet and shoe rack were included at the entrance as requested . The first kitchen which overlooks the living room is connected to the second kitchen which is adjacent with a dining area for summer lunches and both the living room and second kitchen have fireplaces as requested .The living room is also protected from the sun by a veranda . The second kitchen has an access and views to the pool and garden and so does the living room as requested. The second kitchen also has an access to the laundry room and hydropumproom . The timber roof shared by the second kitchen, laundry room and hydro tank room is pitched and the supporting elements were left exposed in the design to emphasize the rustic modern feel which you required. Other elements such as stone, glass , timber and aluminum have been used in the project to bring out the rustic modern feel which was required by you. The Ground floor also has a bathroom and guest room which are accessed from the living area . There is a staircase that leads to the first floor. The Master room and living room both share the balcony. The two single rooms which share a bathroom were also designed with small walk in closets. The total area occupied by the project is 260sqm and we have designed with the considerations of the area that is supposed to be occupied by the project on the land. The pool which measure at 6 x 13m was incorporated into the design as part of the outdoor spaces and we situated it front of the living areas but within the boundaries of the required building spaces. The parking for the 3 cars has also been catered for as can be seen in the site plan below. We shall let the rest of the work speak for itself and thank you once again fro the opportunity. Regards
