Description

The proposal restructures existing spaces without adding interior square footage. The new square footage is proposed in open and semi-covered spaces that complement the family living sector.
The formal dining room and living room are maintained, but the lobby and hall are opened as much as possible, removing the arches and opening from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling as much as possible.
In the area of the old kitchen the mud room, the toilet and the pantry are solved, structured through a corridor that allows access from the garage or the side entrance.
The new kitchen is integrated into the family room in the space where the informal living room used to work.
This space is complemented by a porch and deck to the northeast, to expand family life to the outside.
On the second floor, some square footage was optimized to add the laundry room and one of the dressing rooms from the main room. This was expanded by integrating the porch, a large bathroom was made joining the existing dressing room and bathroom, and a second dressing room was added.
The rest remained basically the same, only adjusting some details of distribution in bathrooms and wardrobes.
