The main idea of this proposal to combine the guest bedroom and the walk-in closet is to have each room function as intended. The walk-in closet will be easily accessible and efficient with its space, while the guest bedroom will be comfortable for the guest to sleep there. The proposal divided the current room into two main areas [see zoning scheme] according to the aforementioned need with a partition wall that consists of wardrobes and drawers. There will be drawers and wardrobes that have no backside so that the visual connectivity between the two rooms is still maintained. The guest bedroom will be placed near the utility room, which has access to natural lighting from the skylight, while the walk-in closet will be placed predominantly near the entrance door. The guest bedroom will consist of a bed and a custom drawer/wardrobe for the guests. The walk-in closet is equipped with 6 wardrobe modules and several additional drawers. it is also equipped with a working desk near the window and a mirror. The budget for the lighting and the furniture is pressed to the minimum [around 8000 Euro] so that the client will have more freedom to repaint the whole room and redo the electricity system due to the need for new lighting fixtures, and other damages during the renovation process.
