Dear Client,

A child's mind offers us an interesting contradiction. On one hand, their attitude to a space while at rest is defined by two inherent factors:

• SPATIAL OWNERSHIP: Children of all ages are at home or school are in an attempt to own a part of space.
• EVOLUTIONARY AFFINITY TO ENCLOSED PLACES: Probably stemming from a baby’s pre-life in a mother’s womb, all human beings have a tendency to be attracted to enclosed or tight spaces. This affinity remains with humans throughout their life. But, this characteristic is more dominant in case of children.

On the other hand, children have a lot of pent up energy after being at rest for a while. They need sufficient space to be expel this energy.

A room for children becomes one which needs both: 1) Openness 2) Personal niches.
