L'idea iniziale parte dalla necessità di arredare uno spazio piccolo e poco luminoso. Per risolvere questi problemi è stato innanzitutto posizionato uno specchio di fronte alle finestre in entrambi i vani. Dopo si è passati a gestire lo spazio in modo intelligente. Al posto di un classico armadio, ingombrante in un ambiente del genere, sono state pensate delle mensole a muro, un cassetto sospeso ed una asta metallica al di sotto della mensola superiore per le grucce (vista 2). Il letto poi, con struttura minima in metallo facilità le pulizie ed dona altra leggerezza, così come i due comodini sospesi. Inoltre la parete su cui si poggia il letto con spalliera in tessuto ha un colore che contrasta con il bianco utilizzato ovunque e che ben si lega con il parquet scuro: carta da zucchero (vista 1).

La cucina, in un vano ancora più piccolo, ha colori molto chiari (bianco) che contrastano con il top grigio oppure in legno chiaro, nella zona dove è stato ipotizzato un piano di lavoro oppure il ripiano dove consumare i pasti su due comodi sgabelli. Non è stato inserito un tavolo per evitare di togliere troppo spazio in un vano di soli 7 mq. Di fronte al lavabo, obbligatoriamente posizionato sul muro dove sono presenti gli impianti, ci sono i fornelli ad induzione con forno sottostante (vista 4). Infine nell'angolo rimasto libero è stata posizionata una comoda poltroncina per il relax diurno e per rendere più ospitale la cucina (vista 5).
