Appartamento in villa

This project focuses on designing and furnishing the first floor of a private villa, with a strong emphasis on functionality, spatial flow, and connection to the surrounding garden.

The design begins with a dedicated staircase leading to the first floor, where the user is welcomed into a central lobby. This lobby acts as the main distribution point and is defined by two architectural arches that separate the space into public and private zones.

The first arch leads into an open-plan living area that combines the kitchen, dining, and sitting spaces in one continuous flow. The kitchen is designed with a central island, creating both a functional workspace and a social hub. Adjacent to it, the dining area is positioned for easy access, followed by a comfortable sitting area oriented towards the TV. This entire space is enhanced by large openings overlooking the garden, allowing natural light to flood the interior and creating a strong visual connection with the outdoor environment. Supporting the kitchen, a laundry room and a pantry are discreetly integrated as two separate service spaces with direct access from the kitchen.

Back at the lobby, a dedicated office room provides a flexible multi-functional space. It includes a work desk, a service/storage area, and a guest bed, allowing it to function both as a workspace and a temporary guest room. The lobby itself is also equipped with practical elements such as a wardrobe for coats and shoes, along with a bench for added convenience.

The second arch from the lobby leads to the private bedroom zone. This area includes a master bedroom featuring a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy. Additionally, there is a secondary bedroom furnished with two single beds and a wardrobe, as well as a shared bathroom accessible from the lobby. Both bedrooms are designed to open onto private balconies, enhancing the sense of space and providing outdoor extensions for relaxation.
