I tried to use the idea of the mezzanine to add useful space to the apartment and move the overall architecture.
By lowering 40 cm the floor the mezzanine does not conform to the standard, but it's height is just enough for medium-high people. Optimal would be to lower the floor of 80 cm, to obtain a regular and fully livable mezzanine.
There are two lowered areas, so with mezzanine: the sleeping area (partly, because the space above the bedroom is too short) and the seating area, which can be recessed into the floor.
