Dear Client, thank you very much for this interesting project.
My design approach to your apartment is all about opening up the space the space that is available, and allowing the light to come in.
As you will also see from the plans, some of the walls are demolished to make larger windows.
Once when you enter the apartment, you find yourself in an open plan area full of light that consists of the living room, the kitchen and the dining area.
A glass enclosure is created to host the dining area and to make the connection between the inside and the outside seamless. A system of glass sliding walls is proposed, that parks on their end, to allow for full opening towards the garden. The glass enclosure is supported by iron beams that become decorative structural elements that also offer shading from the sun.
In the garden I have designed an outdoor seating area that also has a fireplace/barbegue for those nice summer nights.
In the area where the jacuzzi and the swimming pool meet, I have extruded the size of the bathroom to make a shower space, that gets sunlight from a roof light, but also can be accessed from both indoors and outdoors making the connection to the swimming pool easier.
