Considering your request regarding a modern and functional redesign of your kitchen, livingroom and dining area I suggest the following solutions:

Living room

Proposal 1
On this proposal it is placed a curved shape sofa (from B&B Italia or you can find similar shape from other Italian manufactures) facing the tv wall unit and the patio doors. The placement of the sofa allows you to enjoy the sea view while seating on the living room. The two walls and a part of the parallel wall (plan indication no.7) are invested with gres porcelanato.
Proposal 2
I have minimize the angle of the two walls by adding plasterboard wall (it can be added easily ) and placing on front the suspended TV wall unit. This construction gives the opportunity to place the sofa as it is shown on the floor plan opposite to the tv wall unit. On this solution the walls indicated no.7 and the plasterboard wall are invested by wood or laminate material.
Proposal 3
On the wall is placed the suspended TV wall unit and the corner sofa is located in a modern position. The two angled walls and a part of the parallel wall (plan indication no.7) are invested with gres porcelanato. On the entrance of living area there is a thin library.

Dining area

On all the proposals I place the dining table near to the sliding patio doors to enjoy the sea view while dining. You can easily place in all the proposals round, oval or rectangle extendable table for 6 people as the space dedicated for the dining area is spacious enough for all the table shapes. Near the table is placed a side cabinet (suspended with glass or wooden doors) for storing nicer dishes & glasses.

Kitchen

Proposal 1
In this proposal I create a convienient bar / breakfast counter top for every day use.
I place a colonna angolare con cestelli estraibile which provides plenty space for food storage, cabinets for plates, glasses and the necessary cabinets for all the appliances.
The height of the suspended cabinets are up to the celling as to provide extra storage space. The counter top creates an elegant division between the kitchen and the dining area. The colors used are white and rovere, the white color is placed on the columns to minimize optically their volume and also on the suspended cabinets.

Proposal 2&3
On this solution I have enlarged the kitchen area with plasterboard wall as to add a column cabinet for washing machine and also to place a colonna angolare con cestelli estraibile which provides plenty space for food storage. This solution provides many cabinets for plates, glasses, pots & pans. From the opposite side of the kitchen I placed a low column for oven and microwave as to avoid a narrow frontal view. The height of the suspended cabinets are up to the celling to offer additional storage space. The colors used are white and rovere, the white color is placed on the columns to minimize optically their volume and on the suspended cabinets. Moreover, if you wish, you can add sliding glass door panels to separate the kitchen area from the living area.

The solutions of the three proposals can be combined, therefore you can choose the best solution you prefer for each area (kitchen, living, dining).
