Dear Client
The apartment layout hasn’t been changed much, as requested. The only change is that the kitchen was integrated in the living/dining room (where it occupies no more than a 1m wide strip), the place where the kitchen was is transformed into another bathroom, so you don’t have “blind” rooms. One of the bathrooms (the one which was the kitchen before) has the door to the laundry room.
The bedrooms remain unchanged.
The study is detached from the rest of the dining room with a harmonica (foldable) door/screen, means you can assemble yourself to your family and light work or if it is a crazy deadline you can always lock yourself and have all the peace you need.
All of the furniture is new, which doesn’t mean you can’t replace it with the pieces you want to keep (in one answer you said you don’t have to keep some pieces, but would like to). Modern, nice and really comes nicely together
The whole apartment is in a bright white, which helps reflect light and the floor is durmast oak, as you said to prefer. The white color makes daylight much more pleasant and lets you have more sun rays, what is important since you live high up.
The fireplace and TV remain in the same places so no new installations will be needed other than those for the kitchen. Just some modern examples of how the space can be more comfortable than before.
The furniture is modern, mild and wooden colors and can go well with a few antique pieces, like your china cabinet and is really unisex and goes with everything you have that is old and what you will soon buy.
Thank you
