The previous principles of space distribution are maintained but have been improved by inserting some new features to better meet the needs expressed by the client.
The new distribution of the apartment stands out in a classical way as demonstrated by the living area (living and kitchen) and the bedroom. The corridor plays a pivotal role in the project, which goes beyond being purely functional.
Passing through the entrance amidst the white of the walls, you see the doors and furniture contrasting with the path-hall floor. Here, five different types of marble-tile (Casalgrande Padana) fit together like a tetris, making up the texture of floor. The optical effect is amplified by having the mirror placed in the entrance wall.
The kitchen, totally open, never interrupts the continuity of vision with the living room. Its transparency brings light to the corridor, which in the previous deployment was completely out of sight. Mobile walls also allow the occupant to enjoy a versatile space that can shrink or expand according to the needs of everyday life.
The sleeping area includes a comfortable suite, a second bedroom (studio / guestroom) and two bathrooms.
The walk-in closets in the suite act as the conduit to open bathrooms, attached to the room and shielded by frosted glass panels.
In the second, however, shelving is located in the centre of the room as a division between two functions: rest and study.
The floors are laminated parquet HDF light oak, separated by the central nave from the Marmogres, as mentioned above. The doors are white and flush to the wall.
The furnishings are a mix of designer pieces and low-cost, all simple but stylish products.

I principi dell’impianto distributivo precedente vengono in parte mantenuti, inserendo alcuni accorgimenti distributivi per rispondere meglio alle esigenze espresse dal cliente.
La nuova distribuzione dell’appartamento distingue in maniera classica la zona giorno (living e cucina) e la zona notte (camere servizi). Il corridoio assume un ruolo cardine all’interno del progetto, che va oltre la pura funzione distributiva.
Varcando l’ingresso, il bianco delle pareti, delle porte e degli arredi si contrappone all’allegorico pavimento del percorso-corridoio. Qui, cinque differenti tipologie di marmo-gres (Casalgrande Padana) si incastrano come in un tetris, componendo la trama del pavimento. L’effetto ottico viene, raddoppiato dallo specchio collocato sulla parete d’ingresso.
La cucina, totalmente trasparente, non interrompe mai la visione di continuità con il soggiorno. La sua trasparenza porta luce al corridoio, che nella distribuzione precedente era completamente cieco. Le pareti mobili consentono inoltre, di ottenere uno spazio versatile che possa ridursi o dilatarsi in base alle esigenze della quotidianità.
La zona notte prevede: una confortevole suite, una seconda camera (studio/ospiti) e due bagni.
Nella suite la cabina armadi funge da filtro d’ingresso, il bagno è a vista, annesso alla camera, schermato da dei pannelli in vetro satinato.
Nella seconda, invece, una libreria collocata in mezzeria funge da spartiacque tra le due funzioni: riposo e studio.
I pavimenti sono in parquet laminato hdf in rovere chiaro, interrotto nella navata centrale dal marmogres prima citato. Le porte sono bianche e a filo muro.
Gli arredi proposti sono un mix fra pezzi di design e prodotti low-cost dal taglio semplice ed essenziale.
