The project aims for a suitable space for the use of both internal and external environments. The living area results in a single environment and achieves the appropriate relationship with the external space. The terrace becomes the summer lounge, extending the interior area.
According to the client’s demands, the living area is divided into three functional areas: the kitchen, which still preserves the visual relationship with the rest of the environments by means of isolating sliding glass panels; the flexible dining area; a comfortable drawing room housing a home theater system.
A small vestibule is the entryway to the sleeping area, which features two rooms. The private area consists of a bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and private terrace; the second room is multi-purpos , as it may be turned from home-office into a guest room by the sofa bed.
A second toilet was placed, helping the living area without invading the privacy of the bedroom; moreover, the second bedroom achieves self-sufficiency because of its contiguity. The service areas get done by a small laundry room, placed in the old toilet; even if located in the living area, it results well fitted because its access is concealed by doors placed flush with the wall.
