Dear Sirs
I rely on your competences to better distribute the inner spaces of my house in Procida. More specifically it is an old house facing the sea. Our need specifically urges us to get from the current living room a kitchen of about 40 square meters, two single bedrooms with a small terrace aiming to introduce a chair with a side table of modest dimensions as shown in the plant.
A further intervention will be that of demolishing and rebuilding a kitchenette, a four seat table a small sofa and TV corner in the area next to the entrance.. In addition ,due to the discharging tubes, the kitchen must be clearly positioned either next to the main door where an additional window should be planned next to the main door to give more ventilation or located near the existing fireplace using the extraction of smoke.
Rooms 1 and 2 instead require ,whenever possible, a French bed a bedside table and a small cabinet . The bathroom will be divided into two,one belonging to the master bedroom and the other to the rest of the house. The master bedroom will keep its original appearance without any changes.
It will be my concern to divide the bathrooms and redistribute them. I would also point out a library wall in the studio photo;
as a matter of fact it is an old opening that might be re-opened to give access to room 1 , giving more power and space to the future kitchen-living room. The house will have to host a French Louis Philip antique furniture of a reduced size which thus assumes a simple environment .
The floor of Vietri lava will be preserved. Another aspect to emphasize is the arch that divides the rooms in the living area reported in the plant (at present ), if it can coincide with the partition wall of the future rooms it can be preserved too , thereby avoiding unnecessary additional costs .The thickness is 20 cm in siporex and CA reinforced on the top .
Clearly the existing doors will remain unchanged: the door into the corridor or hallway, the master bedroom door , the bathroom door and main entrance.
