Hello everyone! This is a renovation project for a house in Rome.
The client needed to improve the interior of the house as well as the yard. There are three members in their family: husband, wife and a 4 year old daughter.

The existing house is three levels, a basement, ground floor and first floor, which is an attic.
Basement is to be converted into a living area and must be connected to the new yard. Ground floor should be the housing level (living and dining, kitchen, guest bedroom, laundry and storage). And the attic will be used for sleeping area, two bedrooms and bathroom(s).

The design provided here has completely changed the concept of this home. Following the client's requirements, the house is now able to entertain family and friends in a very spacious house and a renewed yard with a swimming pool and barbecue area.

From the main entrance, homeowners and visitors can access the home to the ground floor, they can also access the yard, and from the yard, acces the basement (mancave) through a series of a few stairs and a ramp that goes all the way through the new entertainment space.

Let's find out what we can find in all the new spaces of the home.

In the ground floor there's the front door that opens to a living room, dining area and a kitchen with a laundry and a storage space incorporated. There is also a guest rooom and a bathroom.

Following the set of stairs to the right, next to the kitchen, you can go up to the sleeping area, where the couple will find to the left a master suite and a closet and master bathroom (double vanity, bidet, watercloset, and shower). The child will find her bedroom to the left, where now she can access her own private bathroom for the upcoming years when she'll need her own privacy.

The basement (mancave) can be accessed from inside the house, following the stairs from the living room to the left, or following a few stairs next to the pool that lead to a sitting area with a firepit, where a ramp to the basement can be found.
This basement has a bar (beverage and snacks) area, a pool, a table for games, a TV station, and a gym.

The yard can be accessed from any point in the property. As mentioned above, people don't have to follow the stairs and go back to the ground floor to access the pool, they can do it from the basement. In the yard, there's a barbecue area that is directly connected to the kitchen in the ground floor. That way it will be easy to take food in and out the house to the barbecue, which will supply food to people around the yard. There is also a decent size swimming pool. Thus, the yard is designed in two different levels, according to the client's specifications about the plumbing system.
