The main concept of this proposal is to create accents on facades, which will both unite and bring similarity to existing facades and will emphasize specific parts of facades. For example, main entries are emphasized by lifting the grid above the roof level of the building.
Moreover, grid system is chosen to bring structure to facades so that existing openings will become parts of the new grid system.
Bright colors are chosen to make the building more visible from street, and recognizable. In addition, to make new facades look more contrasting and interesting in combination with the existing white marble wall black color is used for metal structure and a space is left between the existing and new facades.
Moreover, grid system brings man scale to building which is important aspect for the overall perception of the building.
In addition, grid system allows using advertisement panels as parts of the grid.
