My living room is divided by an entrance at the entrance of the house, just to the right is the dining room with two sofas, table and TV. The kitchen is always accessible from the hallway entrance through a door and a small hallway.
The downside at present is the lack of living space and is not fully exploited. I’d like to divide the living area from the night, taking advantage of the entry and withdrawal of the corridor, and making the area more livable and workable. I’d like to create an opening between the kitchen and the dining room, not total, that allows me to switch between the room and the kitchen without making it completely visible.
I’m going to totally change the kitchen, placing it on the front wall of the living room (including everything from sink, stove, dishwasher, work, etc.). Also I thought to change layout of the table, the sofa and the TV in the living room by adding a wall unit / library to make the most of all available space efficiently. Also I would like that the opening between the kitchen and the living room, which is currently divided by a partition, was a form of “L” or at least an idea of genius on your part! I would also like that in the kitchen there was a table with chairs or stools.
As for the style I feel closer to a right mix between classic and modern. I will attach photos that brings me closer to my idea.
