L'appartamento è attualmente costituito da una sequenza di stanze disposte su di un lato e servite da un lungo corridoio, il quale termina sulla parete dell'ultima stanza disposta in asse rispetto a questo. Sull'altro lato del corridoio sono sistemati invece i due bagni. Lo scopo del progetto è quello di valorizzare le potenzialità insite in questo spazio. Un lungo e buio corridoio che conclude su di una parete cieca di certo non è un valore. Attraverso la demolizione dei tramezzi e la creazione di nuclei serventi isolati (che svolgono sia la funzione di filtro tra i diversi ambienti che la funzione di "struttura portante", in quanto inglobano i pilastri esistenti) viene creato un unico grande ambiente, distinto però in più ambiti. A questo punto, non appena si varca la soglia dell'ingresso, non è più lo stretto e buio corridoio il luogo che ci accoglie, ma uno spazio luminoso e ventilato la cui visuale termina su una finestra, quella dell'ultima stanza dove è sistemato lo studiolo. Nella prima parte dell'appartamento è organizzato un piccolo monolocale che volendo può dialogare con il resto della casa oppure essere chiuso ed isolato.
A seguire, un ampio spazio destinato al soggiorno, la cucina, il pranzo, la camera da letto, nell'angolo che risulta essere la parte più isolata dell'appartamento, ed infine lo studiolo. Lungo il perimetro della casa gli spazi comunicano tra loro e la luce che entra dalle finestre irradia il passaggio in continuità regalando una piacevole atmosfera a tutto l'ambiente.
EN. The apartment is currently made ​​up of a sequence of rooms disposed on one side and served by a long corridor, which ends on the wall of the last room, placed in axis respect to this. On the other side of the corridor are placed of the two bathrooms instead. The aim of the project is to enhance the potential inherent in this space. A long, dark corridor that ends on a solid wall is certainly not a value. Through the demolition of the partition walls and the creation of serving isolated cores (which perform the function of a filter between the different environments and act as the "structure" as they incorporate the existing pillars) creates a single large space, however, distinct in most areas. In this way, as soon as you cross the threshold of the entrance, is no the dark and narrow corridor the place that welcomes us, but a bright and breezy space whose vision ends on a window, the last room's one where is the bureau. In the first part of the apartment is organized a small study apartment that may occasionally communicate with the rest of the house, or be closed and isolated.
Afterwards, a large space for the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the bedroom, in the corner that results to be the most isolated of the apartment, and finally the bureau. Along the perimeter of the house, spaces communicate with each other and the light coming from the windows radiates the passage in continuity giving to all the house a pleasure atmosphere.
