Maximum use of the space is achieved with a minimum amount of relocation and demolition. The bathrooms are now two instead of one and the number of bedrooms is kept. The kitchen is now bigger and isolated/separated but also connected to the living room.

Furniture “hacks” are used in places where the walls are too curved (not straight enough). This is done in order to straighten the whole layout optically which would make it cozier for the mind as well as in order to make all the furniture fit. The whole style is modern-vintage so that the original antique furniture fits and feels in-place.
