Description

A COLORFUL JUNGLE

Inspired by the lianas of a tropical jungle, this project aims to reorganize the space currently messy so you can take full advantage of the potential offered by the rectangular plan. The areas currently present are used as event space or work places: the first one (non-editable as requested) is used both as a meeting place with all employees, both as informal space; the seconds are the production spaces, which however have a disorganized arrangement of workstations and big cables hanging from the ceiling.
Through the use of color I want to promote a new organization that will bring order where now reigns an organized chaos; in particular through the use of different grades of four colors you’ll be able to identify four different areas that will contain:

• Purple area (Bryant Street): the event space, one storage cabinet to store food, one mail room and two conference rooms for four people

• Light Blue Area (California Street): divided in staff and founder space with 48 workstations and two conference rooms for four people

• Red Area (Castro Street): one conference room for 10 people, 4 conference rooms for four people, 28 workstations and four telephone booths

• Yellow Area (Mercy Street): 48 workstations and two conference rooms for four people

The colors used are a reference to the various stages of the day at the cardinal points. The big cables hanging from the ceiling finally become like some colorful lianas (while retaining their function of electrical cable) that will characterize the various work spaces, transforming a purely functional element in an architectural one.
