The task was truly inspiring and it was a great pleasure working on its solution.
Now, about my proposal for your layout:
It is based on Your desires, construction parameters and inspired by the shape of the existing structure and its surroundings.
Therefore, the project envisioned represents a '50s villa inspired modern home, with a rather minimal functional layout - consisting out of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area with an open/enclosed kitchen zone, 2 multifunctional hallways, an office and the entrance porch (as required).
The living area is situated 30 cm (3 steps) below the ground level, while the other rooms begin from point 0, the ground level. The entrance porch is envisioned as an open area which can easily become enclosed, due to the sliding wooden shaders attached, thus providing the required security level.
The interior has a kind of retro feel to it and is inspired by the Scandinavian style in design (light wood and white walls, functional and minimal furniture).
