The project initially sought to make the integration with the adjacent apartment reversible, with the least amount of work possible. For this, a foyer was created on the wall that connects the two properties, and the apartment entrance through the condominium hall was transformed into a service area. In the future, if it is necessary to dismember the property, the wooden partition separating the service area from the living room can be easily adapted (see technical drawings 1 and 2).
As taking advantage of natural light was a demand, it was decided to remove the kitchen wall and transform it into a sliding glass door, to increase the incidence of light in the internal rooms and at the same time maintain the independence of the kitchen and the living room. be. The materials and colors chosen are from a more neutral color palette, inspired by Scandinavian landscapes and current trends in interior design.
It was also taken into consideration to take advantage of the existing pipes in the kitchen and bathroom, maintaining their organization but bringing a functional design to these areas.
In the bedroom, we tried to bring simplicity and lightness, providing an environment conducive to rest and study or work.
The apartment - affectionately named "Lux" (light in latim) - combines contemporary and minimalist furniture with scandinavian lines with frames inspired by japanese design lines. Design lamps have also been incorporated into the project, combining beauty and functionality with the environment. The result is a timeless design that will remain beautiful and functional for many, many years.
