Hotel Brioni

Development of the overall Interior design concept. Realization of the concept drawings and detailed, realistical visualizations.

The task was to invent a completely new face and concept for the guestrooms, corridors and all the public areas inside the hotel.

The inspiration is drawn from the surroundings; the existing nature around the hotel (the sea, beach and the waves) and the historical context (Pula as a roman, classical city with very important stone architecture and sculpture). This resulted in an Interior design proposal based on the use of local materials (stone, wood, etc.) and curved, soft, organic lines (accomplished by the use of fabric, referencing the nature) integrated with rather classical artworks in form of painting and sculpture.
