Botanicar Bar

Invention/concept of the brand and redesign of the once commercial space into a bar/art gallery

The overall concept comes from the position of the chosen space: a ground floor of a building adjacent to the Zagreb Botanical Gardens. This was the inspiration not only for the name, brand / graphic design of the project but for the interior design concept as well: the presence of the greenery, color scheme, choice of materials, forms and furniture pieces.

Having the gallery as the second function to support, overall look and feel had to be mainly neutral. This led to a choice of a very blend grey color for the big surfaces such as walls, ceiling, and pavement.

The furniture brings in various green accents. It is either custom made, either iconic European and Croatian design pieces refurbished to better fit the overall concept. Plants and vases were carefully chosen to blend into the neutral space and the main design of the space.
