Project description

In designing a villa in Kordan, north of Karaj, for a 65-year-old architect and his wife, I aimed to create a space that embodies living, working, and family gatherings. Emphasizing a brutalist style, the design showcases the building's strength and clarity, reflecting the personality of its resident architect through its forms and spaces.

The layout prioritizes human-centered standards, ensuring comfort and tranquility throughout the environment. Thoughtful consideration was given to visual connections, allowing for eye contact with the lush garden while maximizing natural light. Large windows and open spaces create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor areas, fostering a sense of harmony with nature.

This villa not only serves as a functional living space but also as a sanctuary for family gatherings, where the architect's legacy is expressed through the bold architectural language and serene atmosphere, inviting warmth and connection within the home.
