Imaginative + Inspiring + Innovative A registered architect in New York State and Turkey, I am the founder of EK Architecture, PLLC, a creative and innovative architecture firm focusing on healthy and high-performing building design in Midtown Manhattan. In addition, I am the founder of onE.GLobe™, scalable prototypes, and artistic experiments to explore future visions. Experiments include diverse types of organically grown, living, and breathing structures with adaptive uses. I studied architecture and interior architecture and gained expert knowledge of district-scale sustainable development, smart cities & buildings, well-being-driven, sustainable building design & construction, computational design, and BIM during my two-decades-long career. I think ahead of time, develop novel programmatic ideas, and design timelessly with the future in mind using the latest technology. Having experience in various markets from aviation, corporate office, luxury retail, hospitality, mixed-use residential, and commercial buildings, having highly conceptual thinking and script writing ability to develop complex programs and design options for large-scale architectural projects, and extensive technical expertise in healthy and high-performing buildings allows me to provide all-inclusive architectural design services from design through construction for a broad range of building types of different scales.

Master's Dissertation | Karagöz, E. (03.04.2012) Design of Pop-up Spaces and Marketing Relationships, 221 pages. The thesis focuses on the relationship between experiential, interactive, temporary urban spaces and brand and marketing strategies. I researched avant-garde examples from around the world. I analyzed the unstable/experiential economy’s effects on contemporary urban life to see the future possibilities of creating/using/changing urban spaces both physically and virtually.
