Greetings
We designed a modern project with two alternative plans: one similar to the existing condition and one with minimal changes to maximize the use of available spaces.
The façade has two alternative designs: One is developed based on the existing façade and the other with enlarged windows for increasing natural light, improving view, and enhancing the quality of space.
In the alternatives, based on the client’s requirements we created a living area with a living room, kitchen, one bathroom and a bedroom for the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom for the first floor. We also designed and presented the exterior of the building which contain a garden and a swimming pool.
Our focus in design was mostly on the exterior area but we considered some important details for the interior design:
For the interior design, for both alternatives, we incorporated closets in the unused space under the corners of the cathedral ceiling where the ceiling height was low.
Considering the small space, we placed a kitchenette in the ground floor and the dining in the terrace area. Besides, a flexible folding dining table is incorporated inside.
In the proposed plan, the bedroom is converted to a master bedroom with a bathroom and an outdoor shower is placed beside the pool.
We considered small windows for the bathrooms to have natural ventilation.
