As I found your project so interesting I have been working on it for the past few days, here is our design and I’ll explain the potential and possible opportunities for you;
First floor:
we have an entrance so what is essential is a nice closet with a bench so you can sit and wear your shoes, at left we have dining and living room together a nice set of sofas joint with a tea table confronting the television.
Besides there is a dining table near the kitchen entrance to make it easy to serve the guests, the kitchen is small but functional so the idea was “less is more” we have a refrigerator some cabinets, and oven.
The studio (study room): so you need a good big desk suitable for pc and others stuff, library as you said there are tons of books so we need to organize them by placing a good library in your study room plus your Riva library.
Second floor:
Bedroom:
A nice cozy bed with two bedside tables
A drawer with a mirror on top
A set of sofas near window, a walking closet with a full-length mirror, and a big wardrobe for all your clothes.
Bathrooms:
The house has three bathrooms two on the first floor and one on the second floor each containing a bidet, toilet, and a tap and the one in the studio room has a bath tub as you wanted.
Colors: as you wanted the design to be simple, modern, and monochrome the colors are mostly black white, and gray plus a wooden touch in some places around the house :)
Lighting:
We have several types of light as you can see in the legend below
For the kitchen we have hidden led lights under the wall cabinets, and a pendant light in the middle of the ceiling for the dining and living room we have wall lights and some pendant lights for all bathrooms we have typical IKEA mirror lights.
In studio we have wall lights a floor lamp and a pendant lamp( if it’s possible for you because of the type of ceiling you have), you can add reading lamp on you desk or where ever you need it.
The bedroom lights are non straight some wall lights and floor lamp is what you need for your cozy bedroom.
