Villa Morello a Modern Sanctuary Rooted in Nature
Project Type: Residential Architecture & Interior Design
Location: Favara, AG, Italia
Design Style: Contemporary with Rustic and Mediterranean Influences
Vision & Concept
A holistic residential project that harmonizes architecture and interior design to create a serene, nature-connected lifestyle. Envisioned a timeless retreat—one that balances modern openness with traditional warmth, and supports both quiet reflection and vibrant gatherings.
Exterior Architecture
The home’s exterior draws inspiration from Mediterranean forms, featuring a red-tiled gable roof, clean-lined facades, and expansive glazing. A wooden pergola extends the living space outdoors, offering a shaded lounge and dining area that blurs the boundary between house and garden. Natural materials like wood, stone, and glass ground the home in its environment, while the landscape design enhances biodiversity and tranquility.
Interior Design
The interior design of this residence is centered around creating warm, breathable spaces that support both communal living and private retreat. With a palette of natural materials, vaulted ceilings, and thoughtful spatial flow, the design fosters comfort, clarity, and connection.
Client-Centered Approach
Every design decision reflects the client’s goals:
- A strong connection to nature through light, views, and materials
- A flexible layout for entertaining and everyday living
- A timeless aesthetic that blends rustic charm with modern clarity
Design Philosophy
Villa Morello is more than a residence—it’s a lifestyle sanctuary. It embodies “soft modernism,” where structure meets soul, and where every space invites comfort, clarity, and connection.
