Dear client,
I made 3 proposals for the reconstruction of the barn in the weekend house.
In all 3 variants, the ground level is lowered by 20 cm, the roof is raised by 30 cm, as you suggested. Also, the mezzanine was raised by 26 cm in order to obtain the required height in the ground floor, which is now 240 cm in the parts where there will be load-bearing beams, and in other parts it will be even higher. In all 3 variants, there is:
- a mezzanine which is designed in such a way that the part with the highest height is used. ( see Sections )
- a sanitary block with a sauna
- lots of hidden storage spaces (under the stairs, in the sofa boxes, under the bed)
- and other contents are more or less similar.
Proposal 1
The characteristic of this proposal is the steeper staircase centrally placed and the surface below it that can be used for storage.
Proposal 2
The staircase has a gentler slope and partially passes above the sauna, which slightly reduces the height of the sauna, but the staircase is more pleasant and safer to walk on.
Proposal 3
This variant was born from the desire to make a SAUNA WITH A VIEW. The window in the upper part of the house was used and the sauna is located on the mezzanine, which is set up so that when you sit on the bench you can look out the window. Just a few steps above is the bathroom and the rest of the mezzanine. Below the sauna we get a space with 135cm height , which can be used as a warehouse (for storing pellets, for example) To open the door of this storage space, you need to move part of the stairs (this part will be mounted as a piece of furniture)
At this stage, the most important thing is to organize the space, which is why I did an axonometric view of the entire space rather than classic renderings. I enclosed some ai renderings.
Plans with dimensions are in dwg format.
