Project description

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the client for this opportunity to work on the project. I am also truly grateful for the multiple review sessions and constructive corrections throughout the design process, which helped us gain a clearer understanding of the client’s vision and priorities.
The overall design has been developed in line with the client’s initial requirements, while improving and refining the layout where necessary. We have intentionally minimized major changes to the existing wall layout in order to optimize and preserve the allocated budget. This approach allows for more efficient use of resources, which can be redirected toward built-in storage solutions and furniture selection.
In the home office, I have designed a sliding wardrobe system that integrates a foldable bed. When not in use, the bed can be fully concealed, allowing the sliding panel to close completely. The use of dark grey thermowood wood for the sliding door not only enhances the visual character of the workspace but also adds a warm and contemporary touch to the interior. When the bed is in use, sufficient circulation space has been maintained between the bed and the working desk to ensure comfortable movement within the room.
For your son’s bedroom, considering his age and needs, a green color palette has been chosen as the dominant tone to create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, a television has been placed facing the bed. This element was added at the final stage after recognizing it as a newly introduced requirement.
In both bedrooms, well-designed wardrobes and closet systems have been incorporated to fully meet the storage needs of the users.
Two alternative layouts have been developed for the unit, with the first option being my preferred proposal. The entrance corridor and the corridor leading to your son’s room are both enriched with decorative elements. In the entrance area, I have also designed a multifunctional space including a closet, changing area, ironing station, and laundry zone to maximize functionality.
Finally, I hope you find the presented design satisfying. I would be happy to continue supporting you after the competition, including providing detailed execution drawings for the cabinetry and assisting you in selecting furniture and materials.
