we thought two zone.first is public/common zone which doing common activities with visitors or friends.other one is private or personel zone like watching tv or sitting or reading book around fireplace.But public and private zone must be connected with eachother.i should feel fireplace when i m at dining and also when i m sitting at sofa i need to watch tv. Those two area is seperated by two zone also.Private zone has functional wall carrying tv and fireplace.On the otherhand,public area has two seperated zone.kitchen and living area.they are connected with eacother too.
we tried to gain multi view when our is inside.You can look at green under staircase and also looking at outside view as eating breakfast.You can taste fireplace and green zone back of window when you are dining.
we tried to cover AC pipe and smoke pipe inside suspended ceiling which is above dining table and sitting area around fireplace so can not make you feel low ceiling.
There is a swing at the intersection between public and private zone.That can be used double side for watching tv or talking with your visitors.That make colunm that at the middle of living room functional.
