Description

The layout I propose is covering all of your requirements; I’ve tried to answer to your main idea to keep all the apartment as open as possible, just connecting visually and functionally the different zones: kitchen, living and dining area are a continuous space, non separated with any wall.
There is only a separation (H 200 m) between the entrance and the private area by a MDF panel covered with wallpaper: this contains the wardrobe and is connected to the wall by five oak bookshelves. This solution hides the private area, making it more intimate, and at the same time allows to have a welcoming, bright and well defined entrance.
The living room includes the element for TV, a sofa, a puff, two metal panels with shelves and a coffee table; it’s bright and open on the existing terrace.
Although the kitchen has a small area, it has all the appliances necessary to cook, clean and storage; it’s a custom made one, with four suspended cabinets for storage and a simple table that can be used for four seats or as a comfortable desk too. Wood textures (oak) for the table and part of the kitchen contrast with the white top and grass green wall paint and with the coloured wallpaper in the same area.
The sleeping area includes the matrimonial bed, two bedside tables and a double closet that can be used also for your outdoor stuff: it’s large enough to contain two suitcases, a medium cooler, tent, two sleeping bags and two boxes (W 70xH35xD35 cm) with camping gear.
The small restroom accommodates the shower, the toilet and the basin; here the blue tones mosaic blend contrast with the white ceramic tiles and a large mirror runs along the wall.
Bright natural textures (wood and ceramic) and vibrant colours characterize the whole apartment; the design is clean, minimal and simple in every element.
I respected your fixed budget (5,000 $ + kitchen), choosing some furniture items on sale as seen on different web sites.
I hope you enjoy my project and that it meets your expectation… Good vision!
