your space is really good and here what i did:
1-removing the wall in between the kitchen and the living.
2-widen the door to the balcony in the living and the other one in the kitchen to add more light .
3-you can use the old furniture in the kitchen but add some pieces to make the l shape and add the counter bar .
4- adding the curtains , plants and decorative sets for more lively style.
5- a build in closet in the entrance for more storage.
