VERSIONE ITALIANA (in ENGLISH AT THE END OF THIS PARAGRAPH)
Parliamo di un appartamento in una casa d'epoca, in centro storico, ristrutturato circa 10 anni fa, con soluzioni e decori eleganti e in stile, ma reinterpretato per renderlo più attuale. Sono stati mantenuti i soffitti alti e gli spazi ampi. L'intervento richiesto riguarda una singola stanza chiamata "stanza libreria", caratterizzate su un lato appunto da una grande libreria in stile luigi XVI con pannellature tipo boiserie. Una della pareti, quella frontale (quindi molto visibile) rispetto all'ingrasso, ha una porta tinta muro che chiude uno spogliatoio. La soluzione, come si vede dalla prima foto è infelice e molto "sotto tono" rispetto al resto della casa. Vorrei studiare una soluzione alternativa per la parete in oggetto che sia in grado di mascherare la porta rendendola invisibile e nel contempo si armonizzi con il resto della casa.
Alcune note da tenere presente:
1. entrando dall'ingresso dell'appartamento si ha una vista aperta sia verso il soggiorno che verso la "stanza libreria" e il disimpegno notte - la soluzione da studiare deve essere armonica con il resto (vedi allegati: pianta piano e pianta sala libreria, foto 2, 3")
2. L'intera zona giorno è caratterizzata da uno stesso stile e da stessi colori di riferimento, per rendere il tutto armonico e coordinato (vedi foto "soggiorno" 4, 5, 6, foto "stanza libreria" 7 e 8", foto "dettaglio libreria" 9, 10, 11)
2. L'intera zona giorno dell'appartamento (quindi inclusa la stanza libreria), attualmente con pareti giallo pastello, verrà ritinteggiata in avorio chiaro, nello stesso tono dei mobili libreria e dei battiscopa, per dare un tocco più contemporaneo all'involucro - in generale i proprietari vorrebbero "alleggerire" un pò le soluzioni
3. Nella stanza Libreria a fianco della parete oggetto dell'intervento c'è una scala che sala verso la mansarda (vedi foto "scala" 12, 13, 14) - va valutato se la possibile soluzione vada estesa anche lungo la scala o limitata alla parete oggetto dell'intervento - solo come nota aggiuntiva, la mansarda ha un design più lineare e contemporaneo (Foto "mansarda" 15 e 16)
4. Nella stanza libreria non sono previsti altre modifiche negli arredi esistenti, a meno della eventuale ricopertura del divano rosso in un colore differente
5. La soluzione proposta deve indicare anche il tipo di materiale e i colori da utilizzare per la soluzione in oggetto, pensando al futuro colore avorio delle pareti

ENGLISH VERSION
Wa are talking about an apartment in an historical building, in the city Centre, refurbished around 10 years ago, with elegant decorative solutions inspired by Louis XVI style, re-intepreted to give a more modern twist. The apartment has high ceilings and wide spaces.
The project requested refers to a single room called the "library room", characterized on one side by a large Louis XVI style bookcase with paneling (boiserie like). One of the walls, the front one when you enter the room (therefore very visible), has a wall-colored door that closes a dressing room. The solution, as you can see from the first picture, is unhappy and very "undertone" compared to the rest of the house. I would like to study an alternative solution for that specific wall, that should mask the door making it invisible and at the same time it should harmonizes with the rest of the house.
Some notes to keep in mind:
1. When you enter the apartment you have an open view both towards the living room and towards the "library room" - the solution must harmonize with the rest of the flat (see attachments: floor plan and library room plan , and pictures from the "entrance" 2,3)
2. The entire area is characterized by the same style and the same reference colors, to make everything harmonious and coordinated (see pics "living room" 4, 5, 6, pics "library room" 7,8, pics "library details" 9, 10, 11)
2. The entire apartment (therefore including the library room), currently with pastel yellow walls, will be repainted in light ivory, in the same tone of the bookcase and baseboards, to give a more contemporary touch - in general the owners would like to "lighten" the solutions a little
3. In the Library room next to the wall for which we look for a solution there is a staircase leading up to the attic (see pics "stair" 12, 13, 14) - it should be assessed whether the possible solution should also be extended along the staircase or limited to the wall object of the intervention - only as an additional note, the attic has a more linear and contemporary design (pics "attic" 15, 16)
4. In the library room no other modifications to the existing furnishings are planned, but the possibility to recover the red sofa in a different color
5. The proposed solution must also indicate the type of material and the colors to be used for the solution in question, thinking of the future ivory color of the walls
