Description

The idea is to create a floor plan that can be read as a unique space but through the use of sliding doors it can also separate the public spaces, such as living kitchen and study from the private ones, like the bedroom and bathroom.
The access to the bathroom is through an independent lobby which also gives access to the bedroom and is also used for laundry and storage.
The result is a plan that can be "walked" in circles. This also frees the facade so it can be read as a single plane, getting a feeling of a greater space.
The service area (bathroom, laundry and kitchen) which requires less natural light, is located where the party wall is, at the back of the plan.
