We are wanting to create gardens in circles around a shopping center. We are looking for low-maintenance, colorful (if possible) plants to make each area visually appealing. We would like areas that are the same size to have the same design (all the 10 ft. diameter circles to be the same, eight foot to be the same, etc.). Plants native to Texas or this area would be good as well, but we are open to anything else that meets the criteria. The areas where there is already trees and shrubbery, we would want removed and to start over with a blank slate. There are sprinklers in all areas. Our tastes tend to lean modern, so we like the idea of rocks, pebbles, etc.
