here is the design for the secret door from both sides as required.
1- The habitable house side: In my design idea, I relied on jamming the wall and the existing door in order not to attract the visitor’s attention that there is a door in that wall, so I used fluted panel with its multiple features where :
- Quick and easy installation
- Interlocking profile for consistent alignment and integrity
- The interlocking tab is specially designed to allow for discreet installation
- Distinguished acoustic properties
- Perfectly straight lines and shades
- High density wood and rough texture.
I also relied in the design to add other elements beside the wall, such as the plate based on it, which can be moved easily to be able to open the door, which is not visible to passers-by, in addition to the table next to the wall, which does not take up much space but helps to distract in addition to adding beauty to the stairs .
I painted the side walls in a relatively dark brown color, while the wall in the secret door contains a light brown fluted panel to match the building colors you mentioned .
2 - The side of the abandoned house: We note that the door on that side is slightly obscured to the inside, so I resorted to the double design, So that the visitor does not know that there is a door, since the part with a wall and the side with a door take the same shape .
I relied on simplicity and classic design in the design because the building is old. The attached photos illustrate my design in a clearer and simpler way .
- There is another solution for designing the door of the abandoned house, which is to have the door on the same straightness as the wall, and when someone comes to open it, he first pushes it inside and returns it to its natural level to stick to the back of the door in the good house and then opens the two doors together, but in this case the design will need two doors, not one for that I prefer the first suggestion .
