Apartment Renovation Design Statement
In this project, the goal was to renovate a small apartment for short-term stays, with a focus on comfort, functionality, and aesthetics. The interior design features terracotta-effect tiles for the flooring, white and neutral tones for the walls, and simple, multifunctional furniture to make the space feel brighter and more open. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom, designed with the absence of windows in mind, includes appropriate lighting and sufficient storage space. Additionally, strategies for better light reflection were implemented due to the lack of natural light.
Although an external render was not requested in the initial brief, an external render was provided to complete the project and better showcase the renovation. This render displays the redesigned exterior, highlighting visual harmony with the interior design, modern materials, and optimized lighting, creating a pleasant and enhanced appearance for the building
