The focus of the project is to remove the existing wall that separates the living/dining area from the kitchen so as to make the spaces flow seamlessly. While achieving this, care is taken to ensure the existing floor, fireplace and the stairs are integrated into the new design. The Louis Ghost chairs around the dining table welcome the viewer into perceiving the blend of the classic with the modern while two solid Victorian inspired armchairs frame the fireplace and create a cozy living area. The island kitchen that is inspired by country homes ties everything together and there is additional space in the kitchen should the client desire to add a four seater dining table.
