A contemporary approach is attempted here through ‘floating’ spaces, which keeps up beautifully with the renaissance revival style of the building. The proposal attempts to achieve a modern result as the client wished, using more 'open' spaces and minimalistic furnishing without making large scale interventions to the existing shell.
