Project description

This project involved the redesign of the building façade, focusing on creating a fresh and coherent architectural identity while addressing functional needs. The intervention preserved the North, East, and West elevations, maintaining their original form, while the South façade underwent a complete transformation to accommodate two independent entrances for the newly formed mini-apartments.

The design process embraced a minimal yet warm aesthetic, combining natural textures with contemporary materials. White cement plaster was used as a clean base, complemented by dark wood-effect cladding elements—some rendered as WPC or HPL panels for durability and low maintenance. Vertical and horizontal alignments were carefully studied to enhance harmony and rhythm across the façade.

Advanced tools such as AI-based render engines and vector-based CAD drawings were employed to ensure both realism and precision. A strong attention was given to the articulation of material transitions, entrance framing, and the subtle use of decorative patterns, enhancing the building’s relationship with its context.

This project represents a thoughtful balance between functionality, aesthetics, and modern building practices, ensuring a refined outcome with a timeless feel.
